Field Testing

  • Diagnostic Sampling - Generate data on key parameters necessary to solve problems. Develop specialized procedures if necessary. Examples: Locate contaminant sources; quantify source strength for use in process models.
  • Performance Testing - Accurately quantify existing conditions. Compare performance to specifications. Examples: IT rack inlet temperatures, static pressure and flow along floor outlets in data center.
  • Ventilation Testing - Total flow, flow distribution and static pressures at key points. Examples: Determine why dust collector system is not effective; locate possible obstructions; identify energy saving opportunities.
